DMF Solvent Recovery Plant

Short Description:

After the DMF solvent from the production process is preheated, it enters the dehydrating column. The dehydrating column is provided with heat source by the steam on the top of the rectification column. The DMF in the column tank is concentrated and pumped into the evaporation tank by the discharge pump. After the waste solvent in the evaporation tank is heated by the feed heater, the vapor phase enters the rectification column for rectification, and part of the water is recovered and returned to the evaporation tank with DMF for re-evaporation. DMF is extracted from distillation column and processed in deacidification column. The DMF produced from the side line of the deacidification column is cooled and fed into the DMF finished product tank.

Process brief introduction

After the DMF solvent from the production process is preheated, it enters the dehydrating column. The dehydrating column is provided with heat source by the steam on the top of the rectification column. The DMF in the column tank is concentrated and pumped into the evaporation tank by the discharge pump. After the waste solvent in the evaporation tank is heated by the feed heater, the vapor phase enters the rectification column for rectification, and part of the water is recovered and returned to the evaporation tank with DMF for re-evaporation. After cooling, the water at the top of the column enters the sewage treatment system or enters the water treatment system and returns to the production line for use.

The device is made of thermal oil as a heat source, and circulating water as a cold source of the recovery device. The circulating water is supplied by the circulating pump, and returns to the circulating pool after heat exchange, and is cooled by the cooling tower.

Equipment Character

Rectifying system of DMF solvent

The rectifying system adopt vacuum concentration column and rectifying column, the main process is first concentration column(T101), second concentration column (T102) and rectifying column(T103), the systemic energy conservation is obvious. The system is one of the latest process currently. There is filler structure to reduce the pressure drop and operation temperature.

Vaporization system

Vertical evaporator and forced circulation is adopted in the vaporization system, the system have the advantage of easy cleaning, easy operation and long continual running time.

DMF De-acidification System

The DMF deacidification system adopt gaseous phase discharging, which solved the difficulties of long process and high disintegrate of DMF for liquid phase, meanwhile reduce heat consumption of 300,000kcal. it is low energy consumption and high recovery rate.

Residue Vaporization System

The system is specially designed for treat the liquid residue. The liquid residue is directly discharged to the residue dryer from the system, after drying, and then discharge, which can max. recover the DMF in the residue. It improves the DMF recovery rate and meanwhile reduce the pollution.
